2020 – Founding Year

  • Asha Foundation established in memory of your mother.
  • Initial trust deed registration & constitution.
  • Defined broad focus: wellness, dignity, education, and circularity.

2021 – Laying the Groundwork

  • Informal charitable work begins (support to families, food & medical aid).
  • Relationship-building with grassroots stakeholders.
  • Community needs assessment in Gulalwadi and surrounding areas.

2022 – Healing & Grounding

  • Focus on personal reflection and emotional wellness work.
  • Exploration of long-term impact areas (waste, women, well-being).
  • Engagement with spiritual, pranic, and social healing practices.

2023 – Exploration & Alignment

  • Alignment with like-minded individuals and NGOs.
  • Informal support to community-based activities.
  • Internal visioning and capacity building through conversations, collaborations.

2024–25 – Structure & First Projects

  • Registration on NGO Darpan.
  • Initiation of flagship collaboration: Reimagining Waste with Aasra Welfare Association.
  • Developed identity assets (address, email, phone, digital drafts).
  • Appointment of CA (Mansi Maniar) and CS (Sudhir Uncle).
  • Drafted compliance plan (80G/12A/CSR-1).

Vision Roadmap 2025–2030

Our ambitious 5-year plan to expand impact and create lasting change in communities

2025-26: Formalisation & Pilots

  • • Complete all legal registrations (80G, 12A, CSR-1)
  • • Build core team & advisory network
  • • Launch Reimagining Waste Phase II in Mumbai
  • • Develop website & visual storytelling formats
  • • Initiate partnerships with civic bodies and corporates

2026-27: Program Design & Replication

  • • Develop 2–3 thematic verticals:
  • ◦ Waste & Circularity
  • ◦ Women & Skilling
  • ◦ Child Wellness & Art
  • • Publish first impact report
  • • Expand to 2–3 more communities

2027-28: Institutional Growth

  • • Establish Community Resource Hub or physical centre
  • • Collaborate with schools, BMC wards, hospitals or MRFs
  • • Introduce volunteer and internship fellowships
  • • Apply for large-scale CSR or philanthropic grants

2028-29: State & National Influence

  • • Pilot projects in another city (e.g. Pune, Indore)
  • • Host an exhibition or conference on "Circular Dignity"
  • • Begin policy engagement with urban waste and women's livelihoods

2029-30: Legacy & Leadership

  • • Publish a commemorative 10-year Storybook
  • • Establish corpus for long-term sustainability
  • • Mentor grassroots leaders, SHGs, or youth
  • • Explore a spin-off enterprise or social innovation platform
